I can’t believe I just used the term “OMG”….*groan*.
Either way,
I was tagged by Leah@Leah’sBooks to do this SUPER fun book/song tag!
Thanks so much, Leah, I had a blast!!
P.S. You should check out Leah’s blog! She has a great taste in books and her reviews are always on point.
MY JAM:
A song you have to listen to no matter how many times you’ve heard it before
and
A book you’ll never get sick of
“What If” by Nicole Nordeman.
UM…? LOTR?! Duh. Little Women is another…
THROWBACK:
A song that reminds you of the cringiest time in your life
and
A book you read that you wouldn’t like if you were to read it now
Probably many of the PureNRG songs…I am just surprised at my lack of taste…
I really can’t think of one!
REPLAY:
A recent song that you have on repeat
and
A recent favorite book
“House Wren” by Owl City.
The Weaver Trilogy by Lindsay A. Franklin.
GETS ME:
A song that is literally me
and
A book that is me in book form
Oh, gosh…I really don’t know!
Probably Enna Burning by Shannon Hale…
WUT:
A weird song that you liked anyway
and
A unique book that stuck out to you for some reason
All the Hamilton songs. I initially found them weird, as many people do, but the more and more I read them, the more and more I LOVE them!
The Hippo at the End of the Hall by Helen Cooper. That was a weirdly intriguing book.
LET’S GO:
Pick your best pump up song
and
A book that inspires you
“New York City” by Owl City or “Feel It” by Toby Mac. Although, there are others…Oh, like “Once and for All” from Newsies.
Kisses from Katie by Katie Davis-Majors.
CHILL:
Your best relaxing song
and
A book you’d curl up with on a rainy day
“5th of July” by Owl City, any Hollow Coves songs, and the Little Women 2019 soundtrack,
The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall or The Vanderbeekers by Karina Yan Glaser are the first two that come to mind.
ADDICTING:
A guilty pleasure song
and
A light, trashy read you can’t help but love
“Cause I’m a Lady” by Meghan Trainor. 🙂
Probably all of the Dear America books…that aren’t that good, yet I like to read them anyway. 😉
NOSTALGIA:
A throwback song you look back on fondly
and
A book you read and loved when you were young
“What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction, “I Came to Dance” by Tiao Cruz, and “Big House” by Audio Adrenaline…OH, and “Me Without You” by Toby Mac. Not to mention A MILLION Steve Green songs. 😉
OH, there are many books I loved when I was little but I’ll have to say The American Girl Series, Little Women by Lousia May Alcott, Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery, and The Flaming Trap by Lee Roddy.
Okay, this was a SERIOUSLY fun tag that you all should REALLY do!!!!!! Any and all of you music lovers are tagged for this one!
What is the song you have on repeat currently? Do you have any song suggestions for me or other followers? Feel free to leave them down below. Thanks for reading everyone! God bless!
Ciao.
Beautiful wildflower, grow untamed.
I have recently started listening to the album The Good Times and The Bad Ones by Why Don’t We and it is AWESOME!

This looks like such a fun tag! I’m currently listening to a playlist on spotify called something like “running through a castle in a dress in the rain” and honestly the vibes are immaculate!

I know! I never watched the TV series for I am too attached to the older movies I grew up on. 😉 Thanks for reading, Cherelle! xoxo

The American Girl series is so nostalgic for me too! Also One Direction. I listen now to some of their earlier songs and I’m taken back to my teens…

Haha! I am certainly not an avid listener of One Direction, but I have some very fond memories tied up with a few of their songs. 😉 Thanks for reading, Anne!
