The Good Times and Bad Ones Book Tag: #BookTagTuesday

Hallo!! And I’m back. I hope you all are doing good and have a great book to read…I bet y’all can’t trump what I’m currently reading (rereading) which is LOTR…so, ha! 😉

Anyway…

I was tagged by Riddhi@WhisperingStories. She has a really cool blog that y’all should check out, if y’all haven’t by now. 😉

Rules:

  1. Listen to the original album- The Good Times and The Bad Ones before doing the tag if you haven’t already
  2. Credit me and Nehal- Riddhi @Whispering Stories and Nehal @Books and Words
  3. Use the featured image used in this post in your post too
  4. Answer all the prompts (Duh)
  5. Tag at least 5 music lovers and ensure they listen to the album. *Threatens you menacingly to do so*
  6. Have fun!

Slow Down– A fast paced book which you found a little hard to keep up with

OH…I know this is a great way to start a tag…but I really can’t think of one.

Lotus Inn– A book which has a romance which develops overnight

Probably the romance in The Lost Kingdom of Bamarre. Perry and William went from being like siblings, to kissing…quite possibly the next day of the day after that.

Love Song– A book in which one of the characters writes a love song for his/her love

Haha, literally the only thing I can think of are the songs Bilbo wrote about ale from LOTR. 😉

I’ll Be Okay– A romance where one of the characters leaves his/her love interest as they think that will be good for both of them.

Mor in The Weaver Trilogy. Though he doesn’t TECHNICALLY leave his love interest, he definitely distances himself from her.

Look at me– A book with a very explicit romance./ A guilty pleasure romance that you like

I don’t read a whole lot of romance, and when I do, it is usually a subplot so it rarely ever gets explicit.

Fallin’– A book with a romance that makes you wanna jump up and down with happiness

Oh, there are a lot…but probably Finnick and Annie in The Hunger Games or Eowyn and __________ (not gonna be blamed for spoilers. 😉 ) in The Lord of the Rings.

Be Myself– A book with a character who faces a lot of insecurities

Oh…I’ve read a lot of books with the underdog trope…but two that first came to mind were Janner from The Wingfeather Saga and the main girl in Perfection and Other Illusive Things.

For You– A book with the best male love interest

Okay, either Aragorn from LOTR, Finnick from The Hunger Games, or Cassius from Soothsayer.

Grey– A book where a character regrets their decision to break up with their partner

Can’t think of one.

Stay– A book where a character cannot get over their breakup

Again, can’t think of one.

Sorry for all the incomplete answers guys…I just haven’t read many books that cover those certain topics. If I have, I can’t remember them.

I tag anyone who wishes to do this tag!!

Well, what do y’all think is the best male love interest in books that you’ve read? Feel free to leave a comment down below!

Thanks for reading! God bless you!

Ciao.

If the words you spoke appeared on your skin, would you still be beautiful?

    1. I completely understand that! It is though! I think it may be that songs in musicals over the persons feelings while sometimes in books, we aren’t completely “in-the-know” with the character’s feelings. Thanks for reading, Meg!

  1. YES Finnick!! I miss him…he and Annie deserved better. Two of my favorite male characters have to be Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables and Laurie from Little Women!! And I can’t stop laughing about Mr. Darcy 😂
