No Disclaimers Book Tag: #BookTagTuesday

I saw this tag on Zeezee with Books the other day, and wanted to give it a shot. So here goes…

Which trope(s) in books annoy you the most?

The “I’m Not Like Other Girls” trope, love triangles, and the bad girl trope all get under my skin!

Which writer(s) do you think is overhyped/overrated?

I honestly can’t think of any really popular books that I’ve read that have overrated writers…then again I’ve not really read many popular books. Haha!

What are you’re least favorite books you’ve read since you started blogging?

Black Beach by Olivia Rana. Ugh. It was terrible!

What is a terrible ending that ruined an otherwise quality book?

Okay, the book wasn’t what I’d call ridiculously high quality, but the ending of The Lost Kingdom of Barmarre by Gail Carson Levine was bad.

Which fictional character(s) do you wish was not killed off?

I honestly can’t say without giving spoilers!!

What are some of your bookish pet peeves?

Dog ears and writing in books!!

What are some books you think should have more recognition?

Oh, The Knights of Arrethtrae series by Chuck Black and The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson.

What are your thoughts on censorship and banning books?

I think the censorship is should be completely personal. If you don’t want to read a book don’t read it. Books should not be banned. It is up to the reader whether or not to support the author and read the book. Cancel culture is ruining the reading experience and banning amazing authors. I’m sick of it.

I tag….anyone who wants to do this tag!! Thanks for reading, everyone! I hope y’all have a lovely day! God bless!
Ciao.

Eating and reading are two pleasures that combine perfectly.
