Book Tag Tuesday!!

Hey! So, I wanted to add a little more spice to my blog by adding more diversity to my posts. For the month of September I am going to have a Book Tag Tuesday post along with my regular Wednesday book review posts. So, without further adieu, I will be doing the Folklore Book Tag by Ilsa@A Whisper of Ink.

First off, here are the rules:

Link back to the original creator.

Tag at least three people.

Declare the rules and list of prompts in your post.

Thank whoever tagged you and link to their post.

The Warden and the Wolf King by Andrew Peterson was one PHENOMENAL book. After reading the equally exceptional previous books, I really wondered how Andrew Peterson was going to end the series. The amount of “speechlessness” I experienced was severe.

All of these books have given me the feeling of happiness and sadness at the same time. However, I felt those emotions most strongly with this one. This book, especially, is very applicable to the stage of life that I am at right now.

This series is my favorite historical fiction series OF ALL TIME. This one, however, is my favorite for it is so well tailored to its audience and it is just truly fascinating! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!

How I wish I hadn’t read this one. (First off, give me grace for I have only read the last two books of The Books of Bayern. I will get around to reading the first two, don’t worry.) After having read and equally adored River Secrets, I was so eager to read the next book. I can’t put my finger on why I disliked this book, but I just really didn’t like it.

If you know me, then it comes as no shocker that this book is making a reappearance in this book tag.

This is kinda a throwback to a long time ago. From the ages of 5-13 I repeatedly read and reread this series (heck, I still read this series sometimes). At those ages, Kirsten’s and my personalities were like two peas in a pod. I just loved her!

This was one of the very, and I mean VERY, first books I ever read. This book sent me into giggles. It brings back nostalgic smiles rereading and thinking about this book.

Why does this book remind me of summer, you ask? Well…

I have NO idea!

This book not only deals with loneliness and sadness, but gives reconciliation and comfort to the reader through the explorations and musings of the main character. (Whom I love, btw.)

This amazing fantasy book gave me one of the strongest book hangovers I’ve ever had. Even thinking back on it gives me a small hangover.

A while back, I wanted to learn more about the Reign of Terror. I hardly knew anything and really wanted to educate myself. Thankfully, I found this book! G.A. Henty is my favorite historical fiction authors ever! His books are so thorough, and though a bit soporific, and extremely interesting. I loved this book!

The main female protagonist in Dragonspell is so unforgettable. I loved Kale and her journey to find her inner strength so much!! I have yet to get my greedy hands on the rest of this series! I NEED TO READ THEM!

Strong Heart by Charlie Sheldon instilled in me the need to unravel a strong, haunting storyline in the sequel entitled Adrift.

I really shouldn’t say who, for it would be a spoiler. However, there is only one love story in this book so, if you’ve read it, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

Sam.

Enough said.

I wanted to like this one so bad. I tried really hard to like this one. However, the main character, Frida, and her father drove me absolutely insane. They were so annoying that they ruined the whole thing for me.
